Softball Game Preview: Southeast Valley Jaguars vs. West Bend-Mallard Wolverines

Southeast Valley has gone a perfect 6-0 against West Bend-Mallard recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Jaguars will look to defend their home field against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. West Bend-Mallard took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Southeast Valley, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Southeast Valley turned things around against Northwest Webster on Friday. They blew past the Cougars 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Jaguars, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, West Bend-Mallard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Newell-Fonda, falling 15-2.

Southeast Valley now has a winning record of 5-4. As for West Bend-Mallard, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Southeast Valley was able to grind out a solid win over West Bend-Mallard in their previous meeting back in June of 2019, winning 6-1. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Wolverines have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
