Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Devine). Everything went their way against the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) on Friday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Warhorses considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Rudy Costilla made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Devine is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-9-1 otherwise. Costilla was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Devine got a big performance out of Alfredo Ramirez, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
