Baseball Game Preview: Cornerstone Christian Cougars vs. Making Waves Academy Marlins

For the second straight game, Cornerstone Christian will face off against Making Waves Academy. Making Waves Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cornerstone Christian only posted a batting average of .045.

Making Waves Academy pushed their record up to 8-4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cornerstone Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster.
