Basketball Recap: Delaware Academy Wins Going Away Against Unadilla Valley

Delaware Academy won the last time they faced Unadilla Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Delaware Academy Bulldogs put the hurt on the Unadilla Valley Storm with a sharp 56-32 win. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Storm are ranked 434th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Delaware Academy has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Unadilla Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Delaware Academy will head out to challenge Oxford Academy at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Unadilla Valley has already played their next contest (against Walton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
