Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Dell Rapids couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Dakota Valley Panthers on Saturday. The Quarriers' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Madelynn Henry paced Dell Rapids' offense, picking up 23 kills. Henry got some help from Tenley Anderson and her 40 assists. Henry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Dakota Valley can attribute much of their success to Coryn Kimbell, who had 12 digs and two assists.

Dell Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 29-7. As for Dakota Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 19 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Dell Rapids nor Dakota Valley have any future games scheduled.
