Basketball Recap: Sicily Island Takes a Loss

Sicily Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 55-13 defeat at the hands of the Dodson Panthers.

Sicily Island's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Dodson, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-14.

Sicily Island will head out to square off against Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Dodson has already played their next game, an 80-62 win against Alexandria Country Day on the 31st.
