Preview: Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks vs. Franklin Academy Panthers
Sheridan Hills Christian is 4-0 against Franklin Academy since December of 2021, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sheridan Hills Christian Sharks will look to defend their home court against the Franklin Academy Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Sheridan Hills Christian will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Thursday, Sheridan Hills Christian came up short against Don Soffer Aventura and fell 52-44.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Micah Smith, who scored 14 points along with three steals and two blocks. AJ Seay was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six steals.
Meanwhile, the third road matchup was the charm for Franklin Academy, as they earned their first road win of the season. They took down Somerset Academy Central Miramar 62-46 on Friday.
Sheridan Hills Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Franklin Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Sheridan Hills Christian beat Franklin Academy 48-37 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Does Sheridan Hills Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Franklin Academy turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
