'Aiea has gone 8-2 against Waipahu recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The 'Aiea Na Alii will face off against the Waipahu Marauders at 11:00 a.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment ('Aiea has three straight wins, Waipahu has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, 'Aiea earned a 6-1 victory over Campbell.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Waipahu's offense. They came up short against Mililani on Wednesday, falling 9-0.

'Aiea's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Waipahu, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

'Aiea skirted past Waipahu 1-0 in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for 'Aiea since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
