Volleyball Recap: Habersham Central Takes Down Effingham County in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

Habersham Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They had just enough and edged out the Effingham County Rebels 3-2. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rebels on Wednesday, too.

Habersham Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 16-25, 25-22, 25-15, 15-13.

Habersham Central is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 27-9 record this season. As for Effingham County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-22.

Habersham Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Johns Creek on the 18th. Effingham County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
