The Woodinville Falcons will head out to face off against the Issaquah Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Woodinville came out on top against Skyline on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run seventh inning. The Falcons walked away with an 8-4 victory over the Spartans. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Cooper Angellar looked comfortable as he pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Alex Wenzel was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Kyson Kleve was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Woodinville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Issaquah sidestepped Hazen for a 3-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by just one run.
Landon Gray and Raghav Madan dominated on the mound. Gray tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, while Madan pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Issaquah secured the win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was Griffin Neel, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.
The victory made it two in a row for Issaquah and bumps their season record up to 10-8. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Woodinville, their record is now 11-8.
Woodinville couldn't quite finish off Issaquah in their previous meeting on April 2nd and fell 3-1. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
