University lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Connally, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's   match. Everything went the University Trojans' way against the Connally Cadets on Tuesday as the University Trojans made off with  a  17-7 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
 Asa Sutton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Sutton was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. University is 6-1 when  Sutton posts two or  more  runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
 In other batting news, University got a big performance out of  Carlos Perez, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-5. Perez is becoming a predictor of University's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 6-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).  Brandon Wiese was another key player,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 University  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .541. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .517 or higher in five consecutive  contests.
University is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.9 runs on average over those games. Connally dropped their record down to 4-8 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: University beat Connally by a score of  7-4 later that day.
