Volleyball Recap: Charlie Sherman and Madison Nation Secure Win for University + How To Watch

University won the last time they faced Grand Junction Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Warriors.

University was led to victory by Madison Nation and Charlie Sherman. Nation had 13 digs and six aces, while Sherman had four aces and three digs. Those six aces gave Nation a new career-high.

They weren't the only good servers: University was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Grand Junction Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jasmine Rushing, who had eight digs and four aces, and Delany Nostrand, who had ten digs and three assists.

University's record now sits at 11-2. As for Grand Junction Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

University will head out to take on Resurrection Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grand Junction Central, they will host Grand Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
