Baseball Game Preview: Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials vs. Quakertown Panthers

The Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials are taking a road trip to challenge the Quakertown Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Plymouth Whitemarsh came out on top against Souderton on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Colonials took their contest against the Indians 6-1. The Colonials haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Quakertown can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They put the hurt on Whitehall with a sharp 11-3 victory.

Lochlan Everitt looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Quakertown got a massive performance out of Gerry Stanziola, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one triple. Justin Hankinson was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

The win got Plymouth Whitemarsh back to even at 10-10. As for Quakertown, they now have a winning record of 11-10-1.
