Football Recap: Lake Mary Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lake Mary's offense. They fell 13-0 to the Lyman Greyhounds on Tuesday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Greyhounds apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The critical scores for Lyman came from Adalyn Gutherman and JANIYA ANGRY.

Lake Mary's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lyman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Lake Mary has already played their next contest, a 27-0 loss against Jones on the 9th. As for Lyman, they will take on Mainland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Greyhounds 8.7, the Buccaneers 14.3) so any points scored will be well earned.
