Volleyball Recap: Halifax County Comes Up Short

Halifax County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Magna Vista Warriors, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Halifax County's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Magna Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Halifax County is set to take on their familiar foe Bassett at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Magna Vista will square off against rival George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
