Logan Peed put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Thursday. He pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long.

Even though Peed couldn't lead Kewanee over Erie-Prophetstown, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Peed's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Boilermakers' five-game streak of wins at home.
