Softball Recap: Rickover Naval Seadragons vs. Prosser Falcons

Rickover Naval put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Prosser Falcons a 9-0 shutout. This was a revenge contest for Rickover Naval, as the team was forced to settle for a 12-8 defeat when these two played last Monday.

Halena Gartner made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. Gartner has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances.
