Football Recap: Robert Myers' Menacing Defense Leads Lee County over Southern Lee + How To Watch

Lee County's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 27-18 win over the Southern Lee Cavaliers. The Yellow Jackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

Brandon Baldwin was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 147 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.4 yards per carry.

Lee County didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Robert Myers, Destry Smith, and Dylan Jones picked up one apiece. Another thorn in Southern Lee's side was Daniel Prince, who picked up two sacks and made seven total tackles (5.0 for loss).

Despite the loss, Southern Lee still got an impressive performance from Kessler Petrarca, who picked up 151 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Lee County's record now sits at 6-4. As for Southern Lee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Lee County will square off against Westover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southern Lee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
