Basketball Recap: Christian Family Educators Takes a Loss

Christian Family Educators was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. The contest between them and the Golden Plains Bulldogs didn't end well, with Christian Family Educators falling 54-38. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Christian Family Educators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-24 back in December of 2024.

Leading Golden Plains to victory were Josh Rath and Dylan Wark. Rath dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Wark went 6 of 14 en route to 14 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Wark has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Miguel Garcia was another key player, putting up six points.

Christian Family Educators' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Golden Plains, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.

Christian Family Educators does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Golden Plains, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-44 win against Western Plains on the 4th.
