Basketball Recap: Happy Valley Comes Up Short

Happy Valley lost to Unicoi County back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors took a 43-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Happy Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Unicoi County, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-11.

Coming up, Happy Valley will square off against West Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Unicoi County, they will venture away from home to face off against Chuckey-Doak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Black Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.92 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
