Mildred is a perfect 3-0 against Rio Vista since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Mildred will look to defend their home court against Rio Vista at 8:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Mildred's tournament run continued when they took on Crockett on Friday. The Eagles lost to the Bulldogs on the road by a 63-49 margin. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Rio Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 46-44 heartbreaker at the hands of Thrall.

Rio Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mildred, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Everything went Mildred's way against Rio Vista when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Mildred made off with a 68-43 win. Will Mildred repeat their success, or does Rio Vista has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
