Volleyball Preview: Mercy Bears vs. Menlo School Knights
Mercy is 0-10 against Menlo School since September of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Mercy Bears will be playing at home against the Menlo School Knights at 6:30 p.m. Mercy will be strutting in after a win while Menlo School will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Monday, everything went Mercy's way against Half Moon Bay as Mercy made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Mercy had a senior duo take command as Clare O'Brien had four aces and three digs and Lana Trehan had five digs and 20 assists. That's the most aces O'Brien has posted since back in October of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Tessa Carbone, who had four digs and three aces.
Meanwhile, Menlo School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Menlo-Atherton.
Menlo School was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 17 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.
Mercy pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Menlo School, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
