Basketball Recap: Foothill Takes a Loss

Foothill was the 53-48 winner over Pittsburg when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Foothill Falcons lost to the Pittsburg Pirates on the road by a 60-46 margin on Monday.

Pittsburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Terrance Wiley, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Jermaine Earnest was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Foothill dropped their record down to 7-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pittsburg, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-49 victory against American on the 2nd. As for Pittsburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-50 win against Vallejo on the 31st.
