Recap: Twentynine Palms Wildcats vs. California Condors
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Twentynine Palms Wildcats can now relate to. They were dealt a 78-41 loss at the hands of the Condors on Wednesday. Twentynine Palms was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead California to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Linares, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Luke Sanchez was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with three steals.
Twentynine Palms' defeat dropped their record down to 11-17. As for California, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
Twentynine Palms does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for California, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 84-62 loss vs. Rancho Mirage on the 9th.
