Basketball Game Preview: University Prep Value Wolves vs. New Designs University Park Cardinals

The University Prep Value Wolves will face off against the New Designs University Park Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. University Prep Value will be strutting in after a victory while New Designs University Park will be coming in after a loss.

University Prep Value will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up 29 points on Friday, then bounced right back against USC Hybrid on Tuesday. University Prep Value blew past USC Hybrid 70-38. The Wolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 28 points or more this season.

New Designs University Park has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 57-32 to Animo Robinson on Tuesday.

University Prep Value's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for New Designs University Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

University Prep Value was able to grind out a solid victory over New Designs University Park in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 44-32.
