Volleyball Recap: Otay Ranch Comes Up Short

Otay Ranch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Highland Hawks.

Highland can attribute much of their success to Camryn Thruston, who had 13 digs. That's the most digs Thruston has posted over her last four matches.

Otay Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 18-8.

Otay Ranch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Redlands on the 11th. Highland has also already played their next contest (against Westview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
