Softball Recap: Skaneateles Has No Trouble Against Mexico

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Solvay, Skaneateles was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Mexico Tigers 22-5. The Lakers have beaten the Tigers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Tigers has come to flipping the script.

The victory got Skaneateles back to even at 1-1. As for Mexico, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skaneateles will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Marcellus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mexico, they will host Westhill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Tigers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
