North Iredell entered their tilt with Statesville on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Greyhounds get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering North Iredell's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Statesville are ranked 509th).

The win got North Iredell back to even at 6-6-3. As for Statesville, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-11.
