Baseball Recap: Summit Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

While Summit's win against Redmond wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Storm sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Panthers on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Storm in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Summit's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Redmond, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
