Softball Recap: Jefferson Drops Season-High Score on Brackenridge

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). Everything went their way against the Brackenridge Eagles on Friday as Jefferson made off with a 16-4 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Jefferson's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Brackenridge, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Jefferson will challenge rival Edison at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brackenridge is set to take on their familiar foe Highlands at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
