Basketball Recap: New Berlin West Comes Up Short

New Berlin West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 76-65 to the Pewaukee Pirates. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Vikings still had to take the loss.

New Berlin West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Pewaukee, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

New Berlin West will square off against Waukesha South at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in New Berlin West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Pewaukee, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 89-64 victory against Edina on the 11th.
