Volleyball Recap: Culver City Comes Up Short

Culver City lost against Palos Verdes back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Centaurs fell 2-0 to the Sea Kings. The Centaurs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Culver City ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19.

Culver City's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Palos Verdes, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-9-1.

Culver City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Palos Verdes, they will host West at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
