Volleyball Recap: Forest Lake Has No Trouble Against East Ridge

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Harding, Forest Lake was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the East Ridge Raptors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Rangers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Raptors, so the Rangers were just returning the favor.

Forest Lake not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept East Ridge between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

The win got Forest Lake back to even at 1-1. As for East Ridge, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Forest Lake is set to face off against their familiar foe Anoka at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. Meanwhile, East Ridge will square off against rival Coon Rapids at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
