Princeton had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They managed a 58-54 win over the Lakota West Firebirds. For the Vikings, this counts as revenge for the 69-57 victory the Firebirds walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Princeton's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Lakota West, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeton will take on Middletown at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Middletown likes a good challenge. As for Lakota West, they will face off against Colerain at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th.
