Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Badgers vs. San Diego Vaqueros

Bishop is on a three-game streak of home wins, while San Diego is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bishop Badgers will welcome the San Diego Vaqueros at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 games.

Bishop is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Falfurrias: they outscored them in every quarter. Bishop put the hurt on Falfurrias with a sharp 77-53 victory on Friday. The Badgers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, San Diego was able to grind out a solid win over Santa Gertrudis Academy on Friday, taking the game 57-44. That's two games straight that the Vaqueros have won by exactly 13 points.

San Diego is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Bishop, their victory bumped their record up to 16-12.
