Volleyball Recap: Fairmont Prep Takes a Loss

Fairmont Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Pacifica Christian Tritons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tritons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Fairmont Prep was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pacifica Christian's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-23.

Fairmont Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Pacifica Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-15.

Coming up, Fairmont Prep will face off against Samueli Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacifica Christian has already played their next contest (against First Baptist), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
