Doane Academy put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Medford Tech Jaguars as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Doane Academy, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jacob Powell was a standout: he scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Hunter Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Doane Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Medford Tech only posted an OBP of .375.

Doane Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average this season. As for Medford Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
