Basketball Recap: Desert Oasis Diamondbacks vs. Shadow Ridge Mustangs        
        
		
             If Desert Oasis was riding high  fresh off their  57-24 takedown of Clark on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks fell  47-37 to the Shadow Ridge Mustangs on Saturday. The Diamondbacks lost against the Mustangs in their previous head to head  back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the  55-17 score last time.
 Desert Oasis' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Allyson Pursell, who  posted nine points along with five  rebounds.  Jasmine Bermudez was another key player,  scoring seven points plus two  steals.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Avery Freeman, who  scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was  Jaslyn Jefferson, who  had 13 points.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Desert Oasis  fell to 2-1. As for Shadow Ridge,  the  victory  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Desert Oasis has already played their next game,  a  41-36  win against Rancho on the 30th. As for Shadow Ridge, they also  didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  48-19  victory against Western on the 30th.
