Baseball Recap: North Union Comes Up Short

North Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the London Red Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly five runs.

Brooks Wills was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

North Union's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for London, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-3.

North Union will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on May 15. As for London, they will challenge Tecumseh at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
