Softball Recap: Harrison Takes a Loss

Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Alma Airedales, falling 13-2. The Goblins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Airedales apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Jordin Quandt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Alma, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.

Harrison and Alma will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Harrison sees the field they'll take on Siloam Springs at 5:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Alma, their break will end when they face Charleston at 5:00 p.m. on April 3.
