Softball Recap: Laurens Academy Comes Up Short

Laurens Academy lost against King Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders lost 14-3 to the Knights. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Laurens Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylee Burke, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Laurens Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for King Academy, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Laurens Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-8 win against Greenwood Christian on the 8th. As for King Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Wardlaw Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
