Flag Football Recap: Valdosta's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over + How To Watch

After flying high against Irwin County on Tuesday, Valdosta came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a hard 25-6 fall against the Lowndes Vikings on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 126th, while the Vikings are ranked 31st).

Lowndes was led to victory by Jamecia Burgman and Anieya Smith. Burgman rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while Smith rushed for 75 yards and one TD. Addison Huling made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Valdosta moved to 9-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Lowndes, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
