Football Recap: Keswick Christian Piles Up the Points Against Babcock

The Keswick Christian Crusaders humbled the Babcock Trailblazers with a 42-7 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Frank Martinez was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 125 yards and two scores. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Grant Cook was another key player, throwing for 216 yards and one touchdown.

Keswick Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Babcock, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Keswick Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 35-14 victory against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic on the 29th. As for Babcock, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Canterbury at 7:00 p.m. on the 4th.
