It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Port Jervis had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top against the Maine-Endwell Spartans by a score of 33-26. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won seven games in a row.
Dylan Fox was his usual excellent self, throwing for 315 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per attempt, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in September. Anthony Theodore was in the mix too, providing Port Jervis with two touchdowns.
Port Jervis' victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Maine-Endwell, with the defeat, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-1.
