With a playoff win on the line, North Florida Educational Institute rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Countryside Christian Minutemen, posting a 57-20 win. The Fighting Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Sawsan Kamara, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 22 points and ten steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Jorrdann Sibley was another key player, putting up 12 points.

When it comes to explaining why Countryside Christian lost, don't look at Nessy Colon. Despite the final result, she posted eight points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for North Florida Educational Institute, bringing their record for this year to 17-12. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.5 points over those games. As for Countryside Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-8 record this season.

North Florida Educational Institute wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-25 win against Seven Rivers Christian on the 18th. Countryside Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
