Basketball Recap: Dominion Takes a Loss

Dominion suffered their biggest loss since December 18, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by the Potomac Falls Panthers 80-41. The contest marked the Titans' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Potomac Falls' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Adit Apte, who posted 16 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Call, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Dominion has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Potomac Falls, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dominion will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Herndon at 7:15 p.m. on January 3rd. After both having extra time off, Potomac Falls and Broad Run will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th. Potomac Falls is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.1 points per game this season.
