Softball Preview: Manzano Monarchs vs. Del Norte Knights

Manzano has been on the road for six straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Del Norte Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

In Saturday's second game, Manzano fell victim to a rough 13-4 defeat at the hands of Los Lunas. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Manzano in their matchups with Los Lunas: they've now lost four in a row.

Brianna Largo put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and 11 unearned) runs off 11 hits. Largo was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
