Baseball Recap: Lee Wildcats vs. Drury Blue Devils

Lee had lost five straight at home, but on Sunday they dropped their record down to 2-12 to make it six. They came up short against the Drury Blue Devils, falling 11-0. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Blue Devils since on Sunday.

As for Drury, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3. Considering they have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

For Drury's part, Brayden Durant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Durant was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

In other batting news, JJ Prenguber was excellent, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Noah Arnold, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
