Softball Recap: Georgetown Victorious

With a playoff win on the line, Georgetown rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin Raptors by a score of 6-1. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raptors, too.

The win made it two in a row for Georgetown and bumps their season record up to 23-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they moved to 18-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Georgetown nor the Raptors have any future games scheduled.
