Softball Recap: Frankfort Takes a Loss

Frankfort was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berea Pirates. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 15-0.

Frankfort's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Berea, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-11 record.

Frankfort has already played their next match (against Garrard County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Berea, they will take on Holmes at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Pirates will no doubt try to take advantage of.
